Challenge
The client had been selling their products via marketplaces for over 3 years when they approached us. Their primary business objective was to offer tailored consultations to every customer, providing in-depth information about product specifics and available alternatives. This approach aimed to empower customers to make well-informed decisions.
Solution
Our approach focused on extensive content customization, leading us to propose using WooCommerce to build the store. Additionally, we suggested developing a custom theme to offer our client the flexibility to place content precisely where they desired. Given the emphasis on aesthetics, we prioritized design and began by creating website mockups.
Process
After discussing the client's requirements and conducting several consultation sessions, we confirmed our project approach and began creating mockups. During this phase, we established the website's structure and design mockups, aligning them with the client's vision.
With approval in hand, we proceeded to develop the design in Figma. Following this, we constructed the store, integrating several plugins and implementing two simple customizations to enhance content management. Subsequently, we built a custom theme and integrated the Figma designs into the store's front-end.
Results
The client was thrilled with the store's launch and initiated extensive promotion among their audience. As a result, the average on-page time was approximately 1.8 times higher than the industry average, a remarkable achievement.
However, our efforts didn't stop there; as traffic continued to grow rapidly, we recommended increased investment in SEO efforts to achieve even better performance and ensure positive long-term trends.
