“We had a Magento 1.9 store and put the migration to Magento 2 on a waiting list until the last moment. Our most important concern about the migration was a large database with tens of thousands of products.
But with the end of Magento 1 support and a new version of Magento 2 becoming more and more interesting, we decided to migrate.”

Project workflow
We started this project for Craftine as a standard migration process.
But during it, we completed the whole scope of additional tasks.
To sum the work performed, we:
The migration process itself was pretty challenging, with tech issues with the hosting, and some unforeseen problems with shipping and payments, which weren't on the staging and thus couldn't be envisaged by the team. Gladly, thanks to a proper risk management, we coped well and in a short time.
We also installed a set of third-party extensions (e.g., AJAX Shopping Cart, Cancel Orders, Shipping Restrictions, and more), and customized their settings to satisfy our Client's business requirements.
